I am first a Navy wife and an Army mom, but also a medical professional who's dedicated her career to the Veterans Administration in New York and North Carolina. There is simply no higher calling than to risk your life in service of your fellow citizens, and I have committed my life's work to the care and well-being of our nation's treasured active-duty service members and Armed Forces veterans.
